She was born January 14, 1943 in Van- BOXALL couver. In her teens, Edna set out on an adventure to Ontario. It was there that she met up with her future husband, Ronald Boxall. They were married in 1964 and she took on a new role as Mom to Ronald's three-year-old daughter, Judy. Seven years later she gave birth to her son, Brad.

In 1975, Edna and her two children moved back to Chilliwack, and she lived the rest of her life here. Edna was very much a people person, and she had a variety of interesting jobs in her lifetime. She loved gardening and enjoyed taking care of her pets. Edna was a wonderful Mom and she enjoyed being Grandma to her two grandchildren. She be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Edna is survived by her son Brad; daughter Judy (Gordon) Sandve; and her grandchildren, Brittany and Stephanie Sandve. She was predeceased by her parents, Ben and Agnes Niessen. A memorial service was held on March 12, 1998 at 1:30 p.m. from the chapel of Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home in Chilliwack.

MURPHY John John Murphy passed away in Chilliwack after a lengthy illness on March 9, 1998. He was born November 30, 1919 in Abbotsford. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Mar. 14, 1998 at 2:30 p.m. at the chapel of Henderson's Funeral Home.

Dr. John Innis officiating. Interment in the Royal Canadian Legion Cemetery. He is survived by his wife Ruth; son Peter (Jenny); granddaughters, Hannah and Phoebe; daughter Janice (John); and loving sister Sheila (Aubrey). 'Jack' will be missed by all who knew him.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Beryl, in 1975. Flowers gratefully declined in favor of a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society. Henderson's Funeral Home, Chilliwack, in care of arrangements. PETERS Cornelius (Corny) Cornelius (Corny) Peters peacefully went to be with his Lord March 11, 1998. He was a resident of Chilliwack since 1947.

PETERS Corny was a longtime employee of the District of Chilliwack, and Elk Creek Water Works. Corny is survived by his loving family: Wife of 50 years, Tina; three children, Melvin (Barbara), Evelyn (Henry) Peters, and Linda (John) Krahn; seven grandchildren, Cameron, Christie, Collin, Kyla, Brett, Aaron, and Greg; and brothers, sisters, and many other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held Monday, Mar. 16, 1998 at 2 p.m. in Eden Mennonite Church, 46551 Chilliwack Central Chilliwack.

ROBINSON James Joseph James Joseph. away Robinson on passed February 27, 1998 at Valley Haven Guest Home at the age of 84 years. He was born ROBINSON December 4, 1913 at Bella Coola.

He is survived by his loving wife Joan of 53 years; children, James L. (Linda) Robinson of Prince Rupert, Phoebe (John) van Basten of Sardis, and Lyn (Robert) Bryant of Chilliwack; seven grandchildren, Kathy, Rick, Dan, Lance, and Andrew van Basten, and Foster and Denieve Robinson; and one great-grandchild, Alexis van Basten. Jim loved the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, and gardening. He also loved carpet bowling, square dancing, and playing and listening to music. He was one of the first soldiers trained at CFB Chitiwack, aha served overseas in the Second World War.

He will be lovingly missed by all his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society, or a charity of one's choice. A memorial service will be held on March 14, 1998 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Chilliwack.

with his parents. He grew up in Mundare, Alta. and farmed on the family farm until 1960 when he came to Chilliwack to live with his sister and her husband, Agnes and Mike Drebot. Frank is survived by nephew Peter (Doris) Drebot; two nieces, Rose Drebot, and Anne (Ken) Chestnutt; also by many other nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends in B.C. and Alta.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Mar. 17, 1998 at 1:30 p.m. from the chapel of Henderson's Funeral Home, Father Bruce Power officiating. Interment Oddfellows Cemetery. Henderson's Funeral Home, Chilliwack, in care of arrangements.

GOULET Michel 'Mike' Gerard Joseph Michel 'Mike' Gerard Joseph Goulet, late of Chilliwack, passed away February 28, 1998 in Chilliwack at the age of 42. He was born GOULET March 21, 1955 GOULET in St. Jean, and had lived in this area for nine years. Mike was a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. His interests included sports cars, body-building, travelling, music, and warm climates.

A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. at the Chilliwack Alliance Church on Thursday, Mar. 5, 1998. Rev. Reid W.

Fowler officiated. Cremation, Valley Crematorium. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Sabine; daughters, Amie and Christina; father Gerard (Betty) Goulet of Victoria; mother Francoise Levesque of SturgeonFalls, brother Donald (Joanne) Goulet of Ottawa, parents-in-law Helga and Heinrich Heilmann of Lahr, Germany; nieces Joline, Elora, and Natasha; nephew Steven; as well as many other relatives. Mike will be sadly missed by his many friends from Chilliwack, and throughout Canada. McKEE William Napoleon 'Bill' William Napoleon 'Bill' McKee VAN HOEVE Benjamin Francois 'Ben' WELLS Edna Joy Benjamin Francois 'Ben' Van Hoeve, late of Chilliwack, passed away March 8, 1998 in his 89th year. Ben was born July 9, 1909 in Sas van Gent, Netherlands. He served his country in the Second World War. He was married May 1946 and in December 1948 he and his wife, and young daughter immigrated to Canada. It wasn't long before he found work on a farm in East Chilliwack.

His son was born in July 1949. In 1956 he and his wife purchased their own farm on Camp River Rd. in Rosedale. They farmed until their retirement in 1969. Then they moved to Crescent Dr.

in Chilliwack. Service of Remembrance will be held at the chapel of Henderson's Funeral Home, Monday, Mar. 16, 1998 at 2 p.m. Rev. Bob Wallace officiating.

Cremation, Valley Crematorium. He is survived by his daughter, Jenny (Ken) Edmondson; son Ben two granddaughters, Carrie and Marissa; and one greatgranddaughter, Jessika. He was predeceased by his wife Jantje (Jenny) in November, 1990. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, or the Canadian Cancer Society. Edna Joy Wells passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord on March 11, 1998 at the Chilliwack General Hospital, age 73 years. WELLS She was predeceased by her husband Ivan in 1959. Edna is survived by her loving family, son Garry (Patti); daughter, Vegas (Jim) Dargatz; grandchildren, Jordan and Alicia Wells, and Faye, Katie, Owen, and Anne Dargatz; sister Billie Skites; sisters-in-law, Shirley Kester, Norma Young, and Doris Spooner. Edna served for several years with the Women's Hospital Auxiliary, and for the past 10 years enjoyed being a member of Sardis Community Church where she was involved in a household group, volunteered with Open Door, and attended the senior's group. She loved gardening, knitting, and spending time with her family.

Special thanks to the staff at Grosvenor House for their care and loving friendship. A funeral service will be held March 16, 1998 at 9:30 a.m. from Sardis Community Church, Rev. Graeme Isbister officiating. Interment to follow at Oddfellows Cemetery.
