Chilliwack White posted a 43-0 win over the North Langley Bears.

A ravenous defence pushed the North Langley Bears steadily backwards through a scoreless first quarter, allowing the Chilliwack offence time to get on track and take advantage of better field position. alive in the past two games," says head coach Len Posyniak. "Rookies like Sean Macleod and Andrew Muth have come up with big plays and have shown great leadership. At the same time, veterans like James Vidal have simply been awesome." The offence had a slow start against Langley, but then scored a flurry of points over the final three-quarters. Geddert later ran in for a fifth major from 40 yards. Special teams worked to perfection, led by Cody Shertiscoff and kicker Conrad Wall. "Our kicking game is allowing us to score points and also get us out of trouble," Posyniak says. The Chilliwack White Junior Bantam team were 38-0 winners over Fleetwood Renegades. The story line was similar to the Chilliwack's other JB game.

"The team really pulled together," says Ruddy Sas, head coach. "We were missing five players, bu the boys dug deep to play positions they never played before and came up big." The scoring highlight was a 65-year kick-off return for a touchdown by Nathan Shalay. In the Peewee Division, Chilliwack lost 40-24 to the Meadow Ridge Knights. "We had lots of kids that played hard, but we got manhandled," says Lorin Geddert, head coach. Kendra Geddert scored two touchdowns and Megan Roxburgh and Patrick Kernohan each scored one major.

PRE-REGISTER BCSPCA Co-Sponsored by The Chilliwack Progress WMMIM Giants 'D' draws a blank The Chilliwack Giants Bantam football team posted its second successive shutout in hammering the Meadow Ridge Knights 43-0 at Townsend Park. The two teams had entered Saturday's game tied with records of two wins and one loss, but the Giants were too much football team this day for the Knights. "We smoothered them and the offence came to play," says Kevin Fahlman, head coach. It was 14-0 after the Giants first two offensive series. Tailback Ryan Walter went over from one yard and then again from two yards out.

The second major came just a couple of plays after Toby Fleenor intercepted a pass and ran 31 yards to the Maple Ridge nine-yard line on the Knights' first offensive play of the game. The turning point though came when Maple Ridge recovered a loose ball at the Chilliwack two-yard line (a pass backwards by QBRob Leetch that was dropped by Dion Stewart) but failed to score. From then on the game belonged to the Giants. Two plays later Grant Fahlman grabbed a pass from Mike Pikken on a tight end option and romped 108 yards for a touchdown and the rout was on. Then Jordan Harris had a field goal attempt blocked, but the ball bounced right back to him and he ran it in for a major.

In the second half, fullbacks Jackson Walden and Byron Flecke each an the ball over for scores. FOR THE UPCOMING HEALTH WELLNESS CONFERENCE!
