The Coyotes, an Under-12 bronze level boys soccer squad, were stopped 4-0 by a Republic of Georgia side in the gold-medal game of the Langley International Youth Soccer Tournament last Sunday. The Chilliwack side was overmatched in the final game, although right winger Adam Lang was chosen player of the game (by the Georgian side) for his aggressive and speedy play. The weekend run of wins included three round-robin shutouts, a 4-0 quarterfinal victory over Abbotsford Lightning and a 2-1 semifinal win (Doug Hansford scored the game winner with just seconds left) over Langley Ajax.
