MAC WEBSTER Mac Webster, born Aug. 31, 1903 in Hobart, Tasmania, came to Chilliwack at age 10 and lived on Webster Road for many years. Survived by brothers and sisters: Dorothy Webster, Bruce Webster, Keith Webster and Betty Paquin, also survived by daughters; Glenna Colbert, Vernon. Verna Henry, Chilliwack. Grandchildren: Shawna and Darren Colbert.

He was a logger In his early years, and after he retired kept busy with his gardening hobby. There will be an open house Sat. Sept. 23, 1 p.m. at 8614 Coventry Place, Chilliwack in memory of his life.

AMELIA LOUISE MITCHELL Amelia Louise Mitchell, beloved Mom, Nan and Gee Gee. Late of Cook Street, Chilliwack, passed away Sept. 16, 1995 in Chilliwack General Hospital, age 74. She was bom August 28, 1921 In Rowden, Alberta. No service at the request of the family.

Cremation at Valley Crematorium. She is survived by two daughters: Mary (Gordon) MacDonald of Merrit, B.C., Barbara (Monty) Lee of Chilliwack, B.C., Son; John (Bonnie) Bowness. Harold was born Sept.

19, 1926 in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. He had lived in the Chllliwack area for over 60 years. Retired Contractor, Harold was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors. No Service was held at Harold's request. Cremation, Valley Crematorium.

He is survived by wife, Sophie; son, Mervin (Velma) Klaudt of Chllliwack; two granddaughters: Kelly and Krisly; two sisters: Lydia (Bob) Kirk of Clearbrook, B.C.; Emma Woods of Chilliwack, B.C.; many nieces and nephews. GORDON HIGGINSON Gordon Higginson, passed away after a lengthy illness with cancer at the Chilliwack General Hospital on Thursday, Sept. 14, 1995 at the age of 80.

Beloved husband of Phyllis; loving father of two sons: Rob, Rick and his wife, Pam; cherished grandfather of Susan, Barry, Russell, Dawn; and great-grandfather of Kaitlyn. He is also survived by his brother, Allen and his wife, Gwen; and sister-in-law, Audrey. Predeceased by his brother, John. A Funeral Service was held at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church on Tuesday, Sept.

19, 1995 at 1:30 p.m. Interment followed at Oddfellows Cemetery. 13, 1995 at the age of 85. Predeceased by both husbands, Arthur and George. She is survived by her loving family: daughter, Marie and her husband, Paul Penn; sons: Ellis and his wife, Gerda; Gerald and his wife, Johann; Merrill and his wife, Pat; daughter, Lillian and her husband, Dan Bonner; stepmother of Ernest and his wife, Rita Gray; Edward and his wife, Marion and Evelyn and her husband, Bill Chapman. Cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. She is also survived by two brothers: Bill and his wife, Beryl Frederickson; and George and his wife, Ann Frederickson.

CONNOR McLEAN PORTER Mr. Connor McLean Porter, born in Southern Saskatchewan on Feb. 3, 1922. Died Sept. 5, 1995 at his residence at 50891 Yale Rosedale after a lengthy bout with heart disease.

Predeceased by his loving wife, Alice on June 14, 1990. Left to mourn: his son, Ronald and wife, Delphine; sons: Curtis and Chad; daughter, Marlene and husband, Bill; son, Frederick; daughter, Renta and her husband, Lucky; two great-grandchildren: Ryan and Kaitlin; Fred's children; sister, Pearl Hankey; and special friend, Jeannette Micheal and her family. A memorial to his life was held Saturday, Sept. 9, 1995. FRANK LAWRENCE BARRETT Frank Lawrence Barrett, longtime resident of Cultus Lake Sardis, passed away Sept.

15, 1995 at Jubilee Lodge, Prince George. Bom May 21, 1920 on a small farm near Blackfoot, Alta. He is survived by one daughter Donna Barnard, Kelowna; four sons, Glen (Elaine), Prince George; Ken (Leslie), Fraser Lake; Russell, Kelowna; and Roy (Maureen), Maple Ridge. Ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Sisters, Harriet Collins, Linda Wright, and Eleanor Jurome; Brothers Pat, Don, Jerry, also three aunts, Edna Kannigan, Marie Forsythe, and Dorothy Rae.

JAMES CAMERON MARTIN James Cameron Martin passed away on Saturday, September 16, 1995 at Chilliwack General Hospital. James was born on February 17, 1925 in Revelstoke, B.C.

He is survived by his wife Elly, stepchildren Peter and Maaike Jelier of Rosedale, B.C., Thea and Frank Neels of Chilliwack, B.C., Martina and Joop Visser of Werkendam, The Netherlands, Brian and Dianne Jelier of Dordrecht, The Netherlands, Benji. And Corrie Jelier of Rosedale, B.C. Grandchildren: Benson, John, Karln Jelier, Martina, Louise, Catherina Frank, Bastiaan, Elly, Bonnie and Marie Neels. Elise Jelier. Mother in law Mrs.

T. Teunissen of Dordrecht, The Netherlands. One sister Bernice of Rosedale, B.C. One brother Gerald of Federal Way, Washington and several nieces and nephews. James was predeceased by his brother Norman and sister Eileen and grandson Nathan Samuel Jelier.

Funeral services will be held at the Church of The Church of the Nazarene, Windsor Street, Chilliwack, on Wednesday, 20th September, 1995 at 1:00 p.m. followed by interment at Chilliwack Cemeteries. GEORGE ALLEN SELLERS George Allen Sellers of Chilliwack, B.C. passed away suddenly on September 17, 1995 at Chilliwack General Hospital.

He was 74 years old. He was born on November 2, 1920 in Vancouver, B.C. George is survived by his wife, Shirley and two sons Brian (Monique) of Calgary, Alta. and David (Cindy) of Chilliwack and twin daughters Beverly (Marcel) of Kaslo, B.C. and Barbara (Robert) of White Rock.

Also his twin brother Henry of Burnaby and his half-sisters Doris and Phyllis of Edmonton. George had nine grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. George "Truck" Sellers was an active member of the 'Our Team" City basketball league back in the 1920's. He and team members such as Dave Boyd, Percy Chapman, Jack Reeves and others comprised a team of winners over such professional teams as the RCAF Airscrews, Father Hanley's team and C.H.S. George also enjoyed years of coaching the Agassiz Senior Men's basketball team during the 1960's.

For almost 40 years George worked lor B.C. Hydro and retired at age 58 in 1979. After retirement he spent many happy hours at his trailer at Pavilion Lake, fishing and relaxing with friends and family. A graveside service will be held in Lillooet B.C. on Sept.

21 at 1:00 p.m. Reverend Edward Lewis officiating. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and Diabetic Research, would be appreciated. FERN DOREEN HETLAND Fern Doreen Hetland late of Valemon! Street, Chilliwack, passed away September 18, 1995 at St. Paul's Hospital, Vancouver, at the age of 66.

She was born February 13, 1929 in Wainwright, Alberta, Service ol Remembrance will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Thursday, September 21, 1995 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Forrest Stroup officiating. Cremation, Valley Crematorium. She is survived by her husband Norman; four sisters: Mrs.

Audrey Saigeon of Kamloops; Mrs. Georgina Myggland of Wainwright, AB; Mrs. Ada (Stan) Rutherford of Edmonton, AB; Mrs. Beulah Myggland of New Westminster and one brother David Gardiner of Wainwright, AB. If friends so desire, donations may be made to a Charity of Choice.

He was predeceased by his son Peter.
