She enjoyed playing solos in retirement homes, for weddings and funerals, as well as playing with the Melody Ensemble.

Thelma is looking forward to playing the Alleluia Chorus. She enjoyed making home a welcoming and warm place, both in North Delta where the family lived for 25 years, and on the acreage in Columbia Valley where Erwin and Thelma settled in the 70s, and where she fed many a haying crew to the point where it was difficult for the crew to go back to work. Thelma was a lifetime member of the B.C. Angus Association, and a member of the Yarrow M.B. Church.

She was very appreciative of her many friends in the orchestra, the sewing circle in Yarrow, the folks at the Cultus Lake Memorial, and Yarrow M.B.
