The win gives Chilliwack a perfect three win-no loss record in a new all-star format, which combines the Fraser Valley Zone with the Lower Mainland in an 1 1-team Midget AA league. The victory over Vancouver was a team effort with seven of Chilliwack's starting nine combining for 10 hits. "Our pitching was a lot sharper in our first two games, but I guess the bottom line was we were able to hang on and win," said coach Glen Trojanoski.
