MarkVodden and Calven Davie, from Chilliwack, were selected to the Vancouver All-Star Major Atom Team. The selection was a three-step process beginning in April and ending with the Vancouver Super Series Annual North American AAA hockey championships in July. Players participating in the Super Series program began with an evaluation and testing weekend, where boys from various regions rally for positions on their region's team. Regional teams participate in the B.C.

Challenge Cup Tournament in Rutland. Players from the Fraser Valley, Vancouver, and Northwest Washington Regional teams are further evaluated and selected to play for the Vancouver all-star team, based on their performance at this tournament. Similarly, players from North, Kootenay, and Interior Regional teams are selected to the B.C. all-star team. Team California, Utah, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Alberta, meet in competition at the North American AAA fenseman, while Davie was named as the team's most player by the coaching staff.
