Rev. Terry Froese officiated at the Chilliwack Alliance Church ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Martin and Judy Giesbrecht of Chilliwack.

The groom is the son of John and Mathilde Maarhuis of Chilliwack. Attendants included Keri Ann Rostad, Wendy Warkentin, Jana Jensen, Lorilea Johnson, Corrin Swan, Russ lade, Mark Maarhuis, Cliff Knelsen, Troy Ellis, and Mark Rostad. The couple planned to make a home in Chilliwack. The bride is the daughter of Ralph and Jannie Groen of Chilliwack. The groom is the son of Wiebo and Ema Maarhuis of Chilliwack. The bridal party included Jannie Berntsen, Norma Veerbeek, Amanda Maarhuis, Walden Bakker, Martin Maarhuis, Warren Maarhuis, Henry Groen, Jason Maarhuis, Tracy Johnson, and Francine Maarhuis. After a trip along the Oregon Coast, the couple settled in Chilliwack. The bride is the daughter of Mike and Jennie Litwin of Chilliwack.

The groom is the son of Joseph and Marie Sinkovits of Burnaby. Attendants included Debbie Swanson, Allison Rimer, Debbie McMurray, Lisa and Krystle Swan-son, Grant McMurray, Kevin Fuson, and Colin Heiling. Master of ceremonies was Darrell Shields. Rudy Stadnyk proposed the toasts. After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple planned to make a home in Surrey.

Marriage Commissioner Lora Beck officiated at the May 12, 1990 ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Ber-nice VanNess of Chilliwack and the late Don VanNess. The groom is the son of Sharon and Norm Chambers of Prince George. Attendants were Janis Green, Robert Harvey, Tyler Maartman, and Lauren VandeVelde.

After a wedding trip to the Sunshine Coast and Vancouver Island, the couple lives in Chilliwack. In the Atrium of the Conference Centre at Whistler, B.C., Laurel Edith Gibbard married Alan Christian Pickles on May 26, 1990. Marriage Commissioner Florence Petersen officiated. The bride attended school in Chilliwack and is the daughter of Robert and Kathleen Gibbard of Lake Cowichan, B.C., and formerly of Agassiz. The groom is the son of Art and Birthe Pickles of Parksville, B.C.

Attendants were Laurie Edwards, Ashley Gibbard, Rob Parker, Philip Gibbard, and Ryan Gibbard. Master of ceremonies was David Gibbard. After a Caribbean cruise, the couple lives in Whistler. A .3 Ifs. .1 Accenting her gown with her maternal grandmother Silver-thorne's, own 1915 wedding gift of a diamond horseshoe broach as the traditional 'something Norma Jewel Jennings married Kenneth Mervin Stewart on July 14, 1990.

Rev. Bob Tustin officiated at the double-ring, candlelight ceremony at Como Lake United Church in Coquitlam. The bride is the daughter of Sandy and Thelma Stevenson of Sardis. The groom is the son of Ken and Laura Stewart of Coquitlam. The wedding party included the bride's sister Jodi Frasier as matron of honor, Colin Cohoe as best man, Sheila Beauregard as bridesmatron, the groom's brothers Jim Smith and Bob Stewart as well as the bride's brother Rusty Stevenson as ushers.

During the reception at Place Maillardville, Colin Cohoe offered the toast to the bridesmatrons, and the bride's cousin Walt Bradshaw proposed the toast to the bride. The bride is the daughter of Paul Harding of Sardis and Betty Harding of Sardis. The groom is the son of Ruby Lucas of Chilliwack and Burns Lucas of Chilliwack. Attendants were Wendy Constan-tin, Jeff Hill, Sally Evans, Lori Withell, Lori Hill, Sue Bridge, Kaeli Withell, Wes Shields, Rory Keith, Duane Grosart, Scott Hay, John Harding, and Vaughn Grosart. The bride is the daughter of Muriel and Hermann Griemann of Sardis. The groom is the son of Audrey and Mel Barber of New Westminster. Marriage Commissioner George Kent officiated. Rick Lamb was master of ceremonies. After a wedding trip to Alaska, the couple planned to make a home in Sardis.

Sheila Marie Butler and Garry Walter Zwack were married June 23, 1990 at Tatla Lake Faith Christian Fellowship Family Church. Pastor Vic Nesbitt and Pastor Cliff Hodgson officiated. The bride is the daughter of Lee and Beverley Butler of Tatla Lake. The groom is the son of Walter and Jean Zwack of Sardis.
