An open house in memory of Elwin will be held at the Chilliwack Fish Game Club on Sunday, June 28, 1992 between 1 and 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to do so, may make donations, in the memory of Elwin to the Canadian Diabetic Association or to a charity of their choice.

Cremation, Valley Crematorium. EL WIN WAYNE FEHR Elwin Wayne Fehr, passed away on June 13, 1992 at home in Armstrong, B.C. at 39 years of age. Elwin will be sorely missed by wife, Kim and son, Jordan of Armstrong; daughter, Christine Schmidt of Highlevel, Alberta; mother and father, Neil and Neta Fehr of Peachland, B.C.; brother and sister-in-law, Myron and Linda Fehr of Portland, Oregon; sister and brother-in-law, Roberta and Frank Wagner of Fort McMurray, Alberta; brother and sister-in-law, Arlo and Linda Fehr of Okanagan Centre, B.C.; nieces and nephews; and numerous aunts and uncles. He will also be greatly missed by his in-laws, Norm and Darby Saunders of Sardis; Elsie Saunders of Sardis; Peter and Anna Saunders and family of Cultus Lake; Mavis Smith and Leah of Sardis; Norm and Terry Saunders and family of Chilliwack.

Prior to moving to Armstrong, B.C. in 1990, Elwin had been a long time resident of Chilliwack, where he was deeply involved with the Chilliwack Fish Game Club, IPSC Shooting and had the honour GRACE RIGBY MOEN Grace Rigby Moen, late of 9156 Hiebert Chilliwack, passed away June 21, 1992 in Chilliwack General Hospital, age 82. She was born Jan. 28, 1910 in Hastings Coulee, Alberta. She had lived in this area for 41 years.

She was a long-time employee at Woolworth's (from 1953 to 1982), and a former member of the Royal Purple, Chilliwack. She enjoyed travelling. Service of Remembrance was held Wednesday, June 24, 1992 at 1 p.m. from the Chapel of Henderson's Funeral Home, Chilliwack. Cremation at Valley Crematorium followed by burial of cremated remains in the Oddfellows Cemetery beside her husband Ed.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Jean (Ernie) Fidgeon of Peachland; four grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Mary Scollick of Chilliwack; sisters-in-law: Mrs. Laura Smith of Edmonton; Mrs. Inez Smith of Calgary; 13 nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ed in 1978. If friends so desire, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or Ostomy International. Henderson's Funeral Home, Chilliwack, in care of arrangements. DOREEN LaMARSH Doreen LaMarsh, late of 9764 Sidney Chilliwack, passed away June 19, 1992 in Chilliwack General Hospital, age 82. She was born Feb.

27, 1910 in Chilliwack. She was an active member of Chilliwack Women's Institute. She made up scrapbooks for the Children's Hospital in Vancouver. Funeral Service was held Tuesday.June 23, 1992 at 1:30 p.m. from the Chapel of Henderson's Funeral Home, Rev.

Worship Service Education Funding Review Call for Written Submissions An independent Education Funding Review Panel was announced June 3 by the Honourable Anita Hagen, Minister of Education and Minister Responsible for Multiculturalism and Human Rights. The purpose of the Review is to develop an education finance system that is predictable, fair, stable, and understandable. Regional meetings will be held in October, 1992. A final report with recommendations is due early in November. The Panel invites written submissions from interested groups or individuals.

The submissions should identify ways of improving the education finance system. The deadline for submissions is July 15, 1992.
