34 THE CHILLIWACK PROGRESS WEEKENDER, Friday, August 2, 1991 Waven Auto crowned slow pitch champions ings and the 'C'" Division was won by Jolly Miller. The league also presented its awards on July 20. First overall went to Wavan Auto Electric, second to TD's Cavern and third to the Royal Rowdies. The most sportsmanlike team was Cheam Whiskey Jacks. The season's most valuable player awards went to Diane Bradshaw and Gerry Hilderbrand.

Wavan Auto Electric had the spark it took to be crowned the 1991 Players Arm Slow Pitch champions. The year end tournament was held on July 20-21 with 18 teams involved. The 'A' Division was taken by Wavan Auto Electric, with 'B' Division laurels going to Earthquake Annies, taking the title over Olympic Flame in extra inn Puck camp for officials Hockey referees will have the opportunity to fine tune their skills this summer at the PoCo Official's Camp, Aug. 19-24. NHL officials Rob Shick, Brad Lazarowich, Shane Heyer and Jay Sharrers are just some of the instructors at this six-day camp being conducted at the PoCo Rec Centre in Port Coquitlam.

The camp is open to people of all ages, male or female.
