B2 THE CHILLIWACK PROGRESS, Wednesday, May 6, 1987 High-octane bats give Rosedale title Rosedale Chevron won the annual East Chilliwack Slo-pitch tournament on Sunday, defeating Jolly Miller 19-17 in the championship final. The Chevron team advanced through the A draw in the eight-team affair with victories over Ryder Lake, 16-12, and Wooden Shoe Coors, 11-5, in one semifinal contest. Jolly Miller moved to the championship contest after edging Due's Corral 11-10 in the other semifinals. One run was the difference in Jolly Miller's opening game, 14-13, over Gumbooters. Dear Bowlers: I've lived in Chilliwack for 16 of which 13 yrs.

have been occupied working with the public. This has been both supportive and an investing experience. The public, as well as what my parents have given me in the recreation business is not something you learn in school, but rather through dedication and hard work. All in all, I am moving to White Rock to take over a business of the same nature. This could not have been possible if it were not for everything I have learned from my parents.

They are very supportive and wish me the best of luck. Although I will be moving away, the friends I have met through bowling will always be memorable to me. Thank you Chilliwack Bowlers and thank you Mom Dad. Love, Reg Gillespie DM RG ChilliBowl's Golden Age club has completed its bowling for the season.
