8A THE CHILLIWACK PROGRESS, Wednesday, January 24, 1979 Harry of Dinsmore, Saskatchewan, Archie of Calgary, Alberta and Jim of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. OBITUARIES of Henderson's Funeral Home, with Rev. J. T. Horricks officiating.

Cremation was at Victory Memorial Park Crematorium, Surrey. Mr. Johnston was born in Everett, Washington, December 9, 1902. He had lived 10 years in the Chilliwack area. He is survived by his wife, Minnie; three sisters, Mrs.

Aggie Hardie of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Mrs. Lydia Hardie of London, Ontario and Mrs Dora Menzie of Regina, Saskatchewan; three brothers, min is the symbol for minute is the symbol for hour km means kilometre means metre cm means centimetre means gram ml means millilitre means litre mm means millimetre was raised in the area. He is survived by his wife, Emily; three sons, Victor (and wife, Wendy), Anthony and Mark (and wife, Joan), all of Burnaby; one daughter, Cynthia, at home; two grandchildren; one brother, Victor of Burnaby; one sister, Mrs. Elaine Fraser of Burnaby and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nazareno of Rosedale. Burial was at the Odd Fellows Cemetery.

EDWARD JAMNICKY Edward Jamnicky of 101 Iver-son Road, Columbia Valley, died January 16 in Chilliwack General Hospital. Requiem Mass was held at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, with the clergy of St. Mary's celebrants. Burial followed at the Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Henderson's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Gordon Currie, Rod Upton, Robert Henderson, Jim Lumsden, Del Erho and Pete Evans. Mr. Jamnicky was born in Sedska-Teplica, Czechoslovakia, November 1, 1904. He lived in the Chilliwack area for 49 years and worked as a farmer.

He was a member of the Columbia Valley ratepayer association and the area's regional seniors. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Josephine Kukura of Genoa, Illinois; nieces and nephews in the United States and other relatives in Czechoslovakia. EDWARD THEODORE JOHNSTON Funeral service for Edward Theodore Johnston of 102-128 Church Avenue, a retired demolition expert, formery of Edmonton, Alberta, who died January 16 in Chilliwack General Hosptal, was held January 19 in the chapel couver; one spn, Bernie (and wife, Joan) of four grandchildren; two brothers, Elmer Wiens and Helmut Wiens; one sister, Mrs. Linda Dyck.

She was predeceased by her parents. Pallbearers at the service for Mrs. Driedger were Gerry Scott, Larry Dyck, Doug Wiens, Roy Smith, Lome Dyck and Earl Nessel. Burial followed at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Chilliwack. Woodlawn Funeral Home in Abbotsford was in charge of arrangements.

CHARLES WELDON NAZARENO Retired contractor in log hauling, Charles Weldon Nazareno of 5383 Meadedale Drive, Burnaby, formerly of Rosedale, died January 16 in Vancouver General Hospital. Funeral service was held January 19 in the chapel of Henderson's Funeral Home, with Rev. D. C. Johnstone officiating.

Mr. Nazareno was born in Chilliwack May 8, 1926 the grandson of the late Colonel Miller and TRUSSES FARM-RESIDENTIAL -COMMERCIAL Buy Direct From The Manufacturer And Save Manitoba 20 years ago. She was affiliated with the Sons of Scotland in Manitoba for 30 years. She is survived by her husband, Harold; three sons, Keith of Ab-botsford, Norman of Whitehorse and Donald of Calgary; nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs.

Elsie Rosling of Winnipeg, Mrs. Ethel Rudolph of Calgary and Mrs. Evelyn Kareama in New Zealand; one brother, James Irwin of Delta and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held Jan-uary 17 at the chapel of Henderson's Funeral Home, Abbotsford, Pastor Reuben Swanson officiating. Interment followed in the Musselwhite cemetery.

ALMA RUTH DRIEDGER Former Chilliwack resident Alma Ruth Driedger died January 20 in Surrey Memorial Hospital. Pastor John E. Friesen officiated at the funeral service for Mrs. Driedger, held January 24 at Broadway Mennonite Brethren Church. Mrs.

Driedger was born in Hodgeville, Saskatchewan on September 5, 1924. She was a seamstress and homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Frank; two daughters, Sharon (Mrs. Joe) Jagich of Surrey and Dianne (Mrs. Jim) Ross of Van- MARGARET LOUISE COTTER Former resident of White Rock and Montreal, Quebec, Margaret Louise Cotter of 9100 Charles Street died January 17 at Chilliwack General Hospital.

She had been a resident of Chilliwack for four years. Funeral service was held January 20 in the chapel of Henderson's Funeral Home, with Rev. Henry Roderick officiating. Cremation followed in Victory Memorial Park Crematorium, Surrey. Mrs.

Cotter was born at Rose-Isle, Manitoba, March 24, 1902. She was a retired housewife and had been active in sports in Montreal. She is survived by two sons, Charles of Belleville, Ontario, and Raymond of Vancouver; one daughter, Marjorie (Mrs. Johnson of Truro, Nova Scotia; 18 grandchildren and one great-grandson. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles, in 1975.

ANNA PAWLICKI Funeral service was held January 23 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, with Pastor Steve Petr officiating, for Anna Pawlicki of 9100 Charles Street who died January 21 in Chilliwack General Hospital. Mrs. Pawlicki was a retired housewife. She waas born in Austria, October 10, 18. Pallbearers were Mike Augustine, Joe Augustine, John Wirsz, Elwin Penstock, Edward Thompson and Peter Neufeld.

Burial was at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Henderson's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Pawlicki is survived by three sons, Frank of Toronto, Ontario, Edward of Thunder Bay, Ontario and Leo of Calgary, Alberta; two daughters, Jennie (Mrs. C.

Forrest of Chilliwack and Josephine (Mrs. Lloyd) Saxbee of Langley; seven grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren; one brother and four sisters. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael, in 1963. THELMA ISABEL JARVIS Mrs. Thelma Isabel Jarvis, late of No.

29 Maple Meadows Trailer Park, Sardis, died in the Mission Memorial Hospital on January 14 at the age of 62 years. Born in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, she had resided in Sardis for the past three years. She came to British Columbia from 3183 Mt. Lehman Road, R.R. 3.
