B.C. MR. AND MRS. GUY JOHNSON (nee Beverly Larson) Norman Studios photo The three-tier wedding cake was made by the bride's sister for the reception which followed the marriage of Beverly Anne Larson and Dexter Guy Johnson. They exchanged marriage vows in Chilliwack United Church before Rev.

R. W. Bray. Mrs. Robert Prachnau was also one of her sister's senior attendants, with another sister.

Mrs. William Jones. The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Larson of Rosedale and the groom is the only son of William Johnson, Toronto, and the late Mrs.

Johnson and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Boyachek, Chilliwack. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-length gown of nylon organza over taffeta with seed pearl embroidery enhancing the scalloped neckline of the bodice. Wide lace bands appeared diagonally on the bouffant skirt.

A crown of seed pearls and crystals held the chapel-length veil. She carried a dainty bouquet of yellow roses and white hyacinths backed by a "fan" of white lace. Assisting Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Prachnau with their duties was the groom's cousin, four-year-old Kimberly Kania, as flower girl.

The bride's attendants wore short-length aqua sheer gowns over taffeta with lace bodices and sleeves. The senior attendants carried bouquets of white feathered carnations with yellow rosebuds. Kimberly carried a basket of similar flowers. Jack Boyachek was his nephew's best man. Ushers were the bride's brother, James Larson; and the groom's cousin, William Kania, Vancouver.

Baskets and small bouquets of spring flowers in yellow, white and aqua were arranged in the BPOE Hall where Norman Hetland proposed the bridal toast during the reception. Assisting the bridal party in the receiving line were the bride's parents and the groom's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Boyachek. Miss Margaret Purych and Miss Verna Fetterly, who also looked after the guest book, served the head table.

A. Mc-Phee encouraged all members to take an active part in the meetings, with a special invitation to new members to participate in club business. In keeping with the term theme "Landmarks" to make members more aware of, and help them to learn more about, the province of British Columbia, the theme for the meeting was "Fringe Benefits" and the aim "A look at our environment." Three seven-minute talks were given by the speakers of the evening.

Mrs. E. C. Mc-Caw spoke on Vancouver Island, entitling her speech "Windows West." Mrs. T.

A. B. Larson spoke on "Heading North" and gave a first hand account of the country around Quesnel. Mrs. R.

W. Whetter recalled her visit to Disneyland and chose Walt Disney as an "Influential Neighbor." Other members taking part in the meeting were: Mrs. M. G. Nelson, inspiration; Mrs.

E. B. Butchart, ice breaker; Mrs. F. F.

Mitchell, topic mistress; Mrs. J. B. Thompson, toastmistress; Mrs. P.

G. Dueck, education; Mrs. J. A. McPhee, closing thought; Mrs.

P. J. Keoughan and Mrs. D. A.

Fotheringham, evalua-tors; and Mrs. A. C. Letts, timer. Theme of the next meeting will be "From Footpaths to Freeways" with the aim "To Study the Natives of B.C." save.
