Nicky Leontowich of 45528 Spruce Drive in Sardis pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined in default 30 days. TRADE INS Mrs. Martha Enns, both of Chilliwack. Rev. Cyril Hunt officiated at the service and Henderson's Funeral Home was in charge of arangements. Pallbearers were Allen Smith, Peter Sven, Grant Maclnnes, Rudy Rempel, Barrie Padg-ham and Jerry Bergen.

GEORGE RANSOM BETTS Former resident of Ponoka, Alberta, George Ransom Betts, 42692 Central Road, Yarrow, died July 17 in the extended care ward, Chilliwack General Hospital. He had resided in the community for one year. Rev. Weldon Holland officiated at the private family service, Saturday, in Henderson's Funeral Chapel. Cremation followed.

Mr. Betts was born in Ponoka on April 10, 1907. He is survived by his wife Kathleen; one son, Larry at home in Rosedale; two daughters, Mrs. D. (Marilyn) Wall-mer of Chilliwack; Mrs.

J. (Audrey) Petterson, Edmonton; two brothers. Homer in Rimbey, Alberta; Robert of Victoria; one sister, Mrs. W. (Pauline) Phillips, Rimbey, Alberta.

She was predeceased by her husband James in 1963. MRS. OLIVE B. FRANCE President of Chilliwack Women's Institute for many years, Mrs. Olive Blanche France formerly of 24 Cheam Avenue, died July 16 in Oak-hurst Private Hospital, Vancouver, where she had lived for the past four months.

Rev. E. L. Wilkin officiated at the funeral service yesterday in Henderson's Funeral Chapel. Ciemation followed.

She was a past noble grand of Ruth Rebekah Lodge No. 4 and a former, member of St. Thomas' Anglican Church Women. Mrs. France was born on September 17, 1886, in Nottingham, England.

She is survived by one son Geoffrey, Chilliwack; one daughter, Mrs. Jack (Betty) Merchant, Vancouver, and four grandchildren. Her husband Edgar died in 1968. BARRIE EDWARD ENNS Graveside service was held in Royal Canadian Legion cemetery for Barrie Edward Enns who died July 17 in Vancouver General Hospital. He was born in Chilliwack on May 6, 1958, and was a student at Central School.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Enns, 46221 Second Avenue; one brother, Jack, at home; one sister, Mrs. Allan (Becky) Smith, Vancouver; his grandmothers, Mrs. K.

Gagnon and and Mrs. George Toews, Yarrow; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Scheer, Beausejour, Manitoba. Funeral service was held Saturday in Yarrow Mennon-ite Brethren Church with Pastor John Klassen officiating assisted by Rev.

Peter Loew-en. Interment was in Yarrow cemetery. Pallbearers were her three brothers, Dennis, Kenneth and Raymond Scheer; and her cousin, George Toews. Woodlawn Garden Chapel Funeral Home, Abbotsford, was in charge of arrangements. MRS.

HELENA WILLMS Former resident of Chilliwack, Mrs. Helena Willms of 32945 Marshall Road, Clear-brook, died July 14 in Menno Hospital, Abbotsford, in her 93rd year. Mrs. Willms was born in Russia and had resided in Clearbrook for the past 10 years. She is survived by three sons, John of Clearbrook; Jake in Chilliwack, and Cornelius of Saskatoon; two daughters, Mrs.

H. (Elizabeth) Fast, Chilliwack; Mrs. J. (Helen) Wiens, Dalmeny, Saskatchewan; 31 grandchildren, 65 great grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. J.

(Agatha) Boldt, St. Catharines, Ontario. Funeral service was held Saturday in Broadway Men-nonite Church, Chilliwack Pastor Henry Warkentin officiated, assisted by Rev. Jake Penner. Interment was in the IOOF cemetery.

Pallbearers were Henry Fast, Jake Kroeker, Jacob Willms, Harry Willms, Walter Willms and Ben Bergen. Woodlawn Garden Chapel Funeral Home, Abbotsford, was in charge of arrangements. MRS. C. M.

DONALDSON Former resident of 9090 Newman Road and 13 Reece Avenue, Chilliwack, Mrs. Charlotte Mae Donaldson died July 16 in Glenwod Private Hospital, Agassiz. Rev. W. D.

Perry officiated at the Mammel and Kelly Dover, both at home; his father, Frederick Mammel, Sar-dis; one grandson, two brothers, Fred, Sardis; Albert, Calgary; five sisters, Mrs. Quast, Prince Rupert; Mrs. Bertha Horch, Winnipeg; Mrs. Louise Fleming, Riding Mountain, Manitoba; Mrs. Emma Johansson, Chilliwack; Mrs.

Anna Skaar, Lake Bennett of the Yukon. He was predeceased by a brother, David, in 1954 and his mother, Mrs. Anna Mammel, in 1971. R. A.

McEACHREN Resident of the area for 67 years, Robert Angus McEach-ren died July 14 in Chilliwack General Hospital. Rev. E. L. Wilkin officiated at the funeral service Saturday in Henderson's Funeral Chapel.

Interment was in Royal Canadian Legion cemetery. Active pallbearers were William McEachren, James Ridge, Peter Ridge, Robert McEachern, Wesley McEachren and Melvin McEachren. Honorary pallbearers were Rothwell Redpath, William Bradshaw, Harry Berry, Carl Webb, Duncan Wealick, James Barrett, William Brit-ton, Vic Miller, Ellwood Toop. Charles Finnay, Bob McLaughlin and Wesley Bailey. Former member of Branch 4, Royal Canadian Legion, Mr.

McEachren served in the infantry in World War Two. He was born on October 14, 1900. He is survived by his wife Mary, 548 Kipp Avenue; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Tope of Burns Lake; Mrs. M.

(Barbara) La Marsh, Chilliwack; one son, Keith of New Westminster, and 12 grandchildren; two brothers, Harry of Sardis and Bill, Courtenay. SHARON ELAINE SCHEER Born in Chilliwack and a resident of Yarrow all her life, Sharon Elaine Scheer of 40774 No. 3 Road, Yarrow, died July 14 at Kamloops in her 12th year. She is survived by her parents Mr. and Mrs.

Albert Scheer; three brothers, Dennis, Kenneth and Raymond, all at home; her maternal grandparents. Transport driver for 19 years with Canadian Forces Base Chilliwack, Mr. Mammel was born on October 18, 1922, in Klostiz, Bessarabia, Romania. Formerly of Viking, Alberta, he had lived in this area for 25 years. He served overseas in World War Two with the Calgary Highlanders. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No.

32, Agassiz; former member of the Westminster Regiment and formerly active with the Babe Ruth League. He is survived by his wife Mary; nine daughters, Mrs. P. (Anne) Tipper, North Bay, Ontario; Mrs. A.
