Mrs. Turner, who was in her I bum year, was Dorn in Toronto and had resided in B.C. for 43 years, with the last two years spent in Chilliwacki She had an interesting nursing career. Following a course in obstetrics in Boston she specialized in that type of nursing and spent 17 years nursing in the Childrens hospital in Toronto. The late Mrs.

Turner was a member of Tillicum Circle of Crosby United church in Vancouver. She is survived by her daugh ter, Mrs. Eugene Abbey, 604 First avenue, and her twin sister, Mrs. Eva Mattewson, also two grandsons. Mrs.

Amanda Fortin Passed away at Pincher Creek on March 22, Mrs. Amanda Marie Angelina Fortin at 81. Funeral service was held here Thursday at 9 a.m. in St. Mary's church, Father G.

J. McKinnon officiating. Burial was in 100F cemetery. Deceased was born in Sabrevois, P.Q. She is survived by five sons and two daughters, also 14 grandchildren.

Two sons, Alfred and Charles, reside in Chilliwack. Reginald E. C. Hooper Reginald E. C.

Hooper passed away suddenly in Victoria, March 29, in his 78th year. Burial was in Victoria. Born in Surrey, England, the late Mr. Turner had resided in Canada for about 60 years, much of that time in Victoria.
