During the past year the Loan Cupboard, convened by Mrs. G. G. Wilson has assisted 119 persons during illness with the loan of sick room equipment, crutches and wheelchairs. A total of 148 articles has been loaned out during the year.

Annual meeting of the Women's Missionary society, Chilliwack United church, January 13 brought reports of an active and successful year, with increased interest in the study of missions and greater financial help to missionary work. Included were, 44,200 blood clinic wipes, 30 transfusion towels, 370 infants knitted wear articles, 1,530 infants garments, 721 children's knitted wear articles, 234 sewn garments, 31 quilts large size and 13 cot size and an additional 1,023 articles for the national program.

Surgical dressing group has met regularly on Mondays convened by Mrs. David Hill and Mrs. G. Wilson. Sewing and cutting groups meet Tuesday and Thursday under the convenorship of Mrs.

C. Campbell and Mrs. George Culbert. A group from Greendale works Fridays. Though some of the women sew at the workrooms, most of the work is distributed among the women's groups in the district for work in their homes or in clubs.
