Val took first palce spots in showmanship at halter, western pleasure, western equitation, barrel racing, stake racing and flag race. She also took second place in pole bending and third in the trail horse class. Lana riding Polk's Painted Lady, owned by Vanessa Fontaine, took home the reserve high point junior trophy after placing first in junior western pleasure, junior western equitation, junior showmanship and junior trail. Lana also came seventh in the costume class. Vanessa rode her two-year-old pinto gelding Gartmore Shadow to take first palce in open English equitation, and second in both open English pleasure and senior and intermediate showmanship class.
