Obituaries 12 THE CHILLIWACK PROGRESS, Aug. 18, 1965 Obituaries PETER FURNICA Rev. Maxwell Cooper officiated at the funeral service Thursday in Henderson's Funeral Chapel for Peter Furnica who died August 10 in Chilliwack General Hospital. Interment was in Carman cemetery. Pallbearers were Mike Leontowicz, Gerry Heffke, Ross McFarlane, Gordon Kerr, Robert Denham and Ivan Bailey.

Mr. Furnica was born in 1885 in Boukavane, Romania, and had lived in this district for 20 years. Before moving to 46 Railway Avenue five years ago he lived in Columbia Valley. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret in 1964. There are no known survivors.

MRS. RITA ANN LAC SUL (NEE COMBES) and EDWARD MARTIN KOLBO Combined Requiem Mass was celebrated Saturday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church for Mrs. Rita Ann Lac Sul of 1252 South King Avenue, Seattle, who died August 5 at Yale while visiting in Chilliwack and Edward Martin Kolbo of Skwah Reserve, Chilliwack, and formerly of Seattle, who died August 11 in Chilliwack. Father James E. Fagan was celebrant.

Interment was in Skwah Reserve cemetery. Mrs. Lac Sul, nee Combes, was born in Chilliwack in 1928. She is survived by one daughter, Rose Marie, and two sons, Mamo and Jerry; one grandson; parents, Mr. and Mrs.

William Combes, Chilliwack; four sisters and seven brothers. Edward Martin Kolbo was born in Seattle on March 22, 1962, and had lived in this district for 15 months. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Josephine Sabo, Seattle; one sister, Anna Louise, Seattle; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.

William Combes, Chilliwack; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Kolbo, Redmond, Wash. Henderson's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. FRANCIS PAUL JAMES Requiem mass was celebrated by Father M.

A. Verral at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church August 12 for Francis Paul James of the Skwah Reserve, who died at Yale on August 5. Born in Chilliwack in 1900 he had lived in the Chilliwack district all his life. He is survived by two sons, Alexander and Michael, both of Chilliwack; a daughter Mrs. Doreen Rice of Seattle, Washington: one sister, Mrs.
