VEDDER ROAD, SARDIS, D.C. Viets-Romeyn Bride's Father Officiates At Rites orchid with a lavender throat, highlighted with stephanotis and lace. Agnes Romeyn was maid of honor; Rita Romeyn, bridesmaid, and Louise Romeyn, flower girl for their sister. Senior attendants wore full length gowns of lavender poie d'elegance to complement the bridal bouquet. They carried white chrysanthemums with lavender tulle.

Flower girl was similarly attired but with short puff sleeves and chiffon sash and carrying a basket of white marguerites with lavender tulle. Gary Baar was best man. Groomsman was Gerrit Leny Romeyn's father was lace. She carried a white Romeyn. Martin vande Hoef bride's maternal uncle, the officiating minister when she exchanged marriage vows with John Viets.

Ceremony was held August 15 in Netherlands Reformed Congregation, Yates Avenue, for the eldest daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Martin Romeyn and the only son of Mr. and Mrs. William Viets, all of Chilliwack.

Escorted to the altar by her grandfather, Pieter van Gogh, the bride wore a floor length gown of Ligoda crepe with lily point sleeves, ring neckline enhanced with guipure lace on the back of front of the bodice. A long train fell from the waistline. Fortier. Former Chilliwack Girl Wed In Ottawa Rev. W. R. Bell, formerly of Cooke's Presbyterian Church, Chilliwack, officiated at the marriage August 15 when Judith Elaine Langlois and Jacques Rene Marinier exchanged vows in Westminster Presbyterian Church, Ottawa.

Bride is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Langlois, Langley and formerly of Chilliwack, and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Hogg, Chilliwack.

Groom is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Adrien Marinier, Messines, Quebec. Young couple will reside in Ottawa where the groom will continue his studies in sociology at Ottawa University. Bride will continue working for Royal Trust Company at Ottawa.

Ray Kehler, Gagetown, Oromocto, New Brunswick; Janice Bury, Vancouver, bridesmaid; Debby Landry, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan; and Carolyn Rose Harder, Abbotsford, flower girl. Senior attendants wore long peach gowns with the flower girl in a long white gown. They carried white carnations. Kevin Douglas Kehler, Gagetown, was ring bearer. Danny Jenzen was best man.

Ushers were Raymond Doonanco and Ronald Peters. Bryon Waters proposed the bridal toast to the bride at the reception in The Empress Hotel decorated in a yellow, white and orange theme for the occasion. A miniature church and a miniature bridal party decorated the four-tier wedding cake. Following a honeymoon to California Mr. and Mrs.

Peters will reside in New Westminster.
