Rev. George Thielmann officiated at the candlelight ceremony in East Chilliwack Mennonite Brethren Church for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abram C. Riediger, Chilliwack, and the son of Mr.

.7 and Mrs. William Koop. Padre Home Officiates At Rites Padre Sidney G. Home officiated in All Sappers' Chapel, Camp Chilliwack, at the wedding of Elizabeth Myrvold and Dennis Wayne Shaw. The bride is the eldest daughter of Mrs.

Agnes Lambert, Whitehorse, Yukon, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Mclvor, Er-rington, B.C.

For the ceremony the bride wore a winter pink suit with black accessories. She carried a spray of gardenias. Mrs. William Eggleston was matton of honor in a grey vsuit, pink accessories and pink carnation corsage. William Eggleston was best man.

Alex Ozerow, Agassiz, proposed the bridal toast at the small reception held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eggleston. For the honeymoon the bride wore a black dress with trimmed stole and gardenia corsage. Mr.

and Mrs. Shaw will reside at 114 Hodgins Avenue. Out-of-town guests attending the quiet wedding were Mr. and Mrs. C.

A crown of mother of pearl and rhinestones held the two-tier veil appliqued with lace centered with rhinestones. She carried a cascade bouquet of gardenias and feathered red carnations. Attending the bride were Mrs.

Walter Wiebe, Miss Rita Wiebe and Miss Helen Jan-zen. Their white brocaded taffeta gowns and red and peppermint striped carnations carried out the wedding motif. Best men were Robert Koop, Ronald Koop and Leonard Koop. Ushers were Raymond Plett and Victor Reimer of Landmark; Donald Kropp and Walter Wiebe. The pianist Miss Mary Kropp accompanied Helmut Janzen as he sang "Wedding Prayer" and "0 Perfect Love." Parents of the Dride and groom assisted the bridal party in the receiving line at the reception held in the lower auditorium of the church.

Matthias (nee Jane McCutcheon) of Smithers and granddaughter of Mrs. W. Lipton McCutcheon of Chilliwack and the late Mr. McCutcheon. Her paternal grandparents are Mr.

and Mrs. T. A. Matthias, Fort St. John and formerly of Hope.

A luncheon was held at the home of Mrs. McCutcheon following the christening. Among the guests were the baby's paternal grandparents. Mrs. George Clarke (nee Stella Curtis), Edmonton, spent an enjoyable first week of the New Year with her parents, Mr.

and Mrs. F. M. Curtis, 234 Berkeley Avenue. Spending a short time in Chilliwack Monday was Brian Martin of Prince George.

He flew down Vancouver where he visited his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Martin. Driving a new truck home, he visited his parents, Mrs. Gerry Norlen and Mr.

Norlen in Chilliwack. The bride's gown was fashioned with a sweetheart neckline and gathered skirt which fell into a long train. A crown of pearl droplets held the elbow-length veil.
