This is one of the builders' club's first projects and they need help in making it a big success. I mentioned this Builders' Club in the column some time ago, but at that time I had very little real information. From reports I have received from informed sources 1 can now tell you a bit more. Gil Gore, proprietor of the establishment, stated that on May 7 his shop had been broken into and on that occas-sion a neighbor had advised him of unusual behavior by her dogs that morning. At 2:30 a.m. last Thursday morning, Mr. Gore said he received a telephone call from that same neighbor advising him that her dogs were behaving in the same manner. After notifying the RCMP, he proceeded to his shop where he found his front window broken and three portable TV's abandoned outside.

He estimated the retail value at $540. An RCMP spokesman states that the prompt action of the neighbor and the behavior of the dogs was the probable reason for the thieves abandoning their plans. However, it appears to me that a stricter control will be required, as some of the groups fiddle with the thermostats, some leave some of their display material behind them, and others leave the room that they have used in a state more reminiscent of a pig-sty. On occasions outside doors have been left unlocked all night and lights have been left on." Dr.
