PATHOS AND HUMOR BLENDED IN "EYES RIGHT' "Eyes Right," a military musical comedy drama, in three acts, was a strong attraction at the Strand Theatre on Thursday evening. Staged by the Vancouver Veteran Pluyers, who give of their time and talents in this way in tho assistance of their less fortunate comrades of the Great War, and given under the personal direction of the author and producer himself, Mr.

J. J. Atherton, the play was entertaining aud pleasing throughout and won the appreciation of the audience from beginning to end. A splendid blending of pathos and humour featured the comedy, and while the presentation was perhaps not an absolutely finished product, it was nevertheless a breezy and happy presentation by veterans themselves of incidents of their life of 1914 18 and as such it can be well recommended. The songs of that period were heard again with mixed feelings of associating memories, but that they were not forgotten was plainly made known by the distinct hum of the audience with the orchestra and singers.

The orchestra was one of the best features of the evening and was worth coming to hear by itself aud those who heard WEEK END SPECIAL Chocolate A Almost every person likes good Fudge.
