He says it is really a World's Fair itself, and requires to bs seen to be appreciated. Mr. Stead has long been a warm friend of Lord and Lady Aberdo6n. and his recent sojourn at Ottawa as the guest of the Governor General has rosulted in a very readable and complete character sketch of Lord Aberdeen and Lis accomplished wifo, which appears in the January number of the lieview of Uniews. The article is one whioh will be interesting in North America on both sides of the boundaiy line and interesting also in Great Britain. The article is profusely aud attractively illustrated.

It is followed by a summarized report of the address given by Mr. Stead in Toronto upon tho mission and destiny ot uanaaa, in which Mr. Stead dwells especially upon tho position of Canada as a connecting link between the British and American halves of the English speaking race.
