hear of his affliction. Mr. and Mrs. J. Reece placed their home at the disposal of the Methodist S S. for a garden party' last Thursday eveuing. The large grounds were tastefully decorated and Illuminated with Chinese lauterns, while a booth for the sale of ice cream and fruit was a centre of attraction. The Silver Cornet Band, uuder tiie leadership of Mr. S. Gibson, enlivened the proce.dihgs with a choice program.
