Highway Crash Here Kills Kamloops Man Bernard Alfred Pope, 30, Kamloops, was killed and four other persons suffered minor injuries at 5 a.m. Saturday when a car went out of control on the Trans-Canada Trans-Canada Trans-Canada highway between Sumas Prairie road and C'annor road, struck a telephone telephone pole and landed in a roadside strawberry patch. Injured were William Rodney Rodney Fewings, driver of the car, Mrs. Fewings and Tope's wife and baby. Mr. and Mrs. Fewings Fewings are believed to be from Manitoba.
